Other People's Clothes has partnered with NYC designer Menyelek on a collection of 1/1 womenswear, reworked entirely from secondhand slip dresses and t-shirts.
Menyelek Rose is a multidisciplinary artist based between his hometown of Baltimore and NYC. Rose debuted his namesake label in 2017 and since has gone on to being a finalist in the Paul Smith Foundation x CFDA Designer-in-Residence program, land on the official NYFW schedule, and exercise his love of design + storytelling.
The collection explores the story behind Other People's Clothes and the many lives a garment can hold. Every piece on O.P.C.'s racks come from someone in our community, meaning every garment has already belonged to someone, lived somewhere, and carried a story of it's own.
Now, those lives are being Remixed into something new.
