You can choose to have a present buy if you'd prefer to see your items priced by one of our buyers, or you can come back and pick up once your buy is complete. On slower days, the wait is about 20-40 minutes, and on busier days, it ranges from 1-3 hours.

Once we price all of your items we want to sell in store, we total everything up and record on our vouchers.
Of the total retail value of all pieces sold in, you can choose to redeem 50% store credit OR 30% in cash. (Ex: $200 Retail = $100 store credit = $60 cash) Store credit does not expire, however if your voucher or OPC store credit card is missing, we are unable to use your credit toward a purchase.

On your voucher we used to sign you in, you'll see your potential cash or store credit value. Close out your voucher at the front register, where you can choose cash or credit.
If you choose store credit, we'll put that value on a gift card for you, and you use your credit to shop at either location. You can also choose to use partial store credit on items purchased same-day as you pick up your voucher, and redeem the rest in cash.
The Buying Process
Quality + Condition
Our buyers examine the state of each garment carefully, and price pieces according to a scale of condition from fair to excellent / new with tags.
Desirability + Store Needs
We choose what items to pass on based on the desirability of the items based on the needs of each unique Other People’s Clothes shop.If we notice moto boots are super in demand, and maxi dresses haven’t been selling — we’ll buy based on these observations.
Seasonality
We changeover seasons in-store approximately one month before the season officially begins.
